Summary: | To provide a composition useful to manufacture a light-emitting element of a low drive voltage.SOLUTION: A composition for a light-emitting element as described below is provided according to a disclosure hereof. The composition comprises: a low-molecular compound; a high-molecular compound; and a solvent. The high-molecular compound is a polymer compound having a heterocyclic group of a single or condensed ring, including one or more heteroatoms selected from an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom and a sulfur atom in its ring. The high-molecular compound includes a constituting unit A containing, in its main chain, one or more groups A selected from an aromatic hydrocarbon group of a single or condensed ring and the heterocyclic group. The difference between a contact angle of a separate film formed by the low-molecular compound to water, and a contact angle of a separate film formed by the high-molecular compound to water is no more than 5 degrees.SELECTED DRAWING: None
