Summary:To provide a vehicle structure capable of appropriately preventing or curbing a defect in which an upper section side of a steering column is raised when a vehicle undergoes head-on collision while curbing increases in a vehicle weight and a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A vehicle structure B comprises: a brace 3 with an upper section thereof connected to a steering column 2 or a support member 7 supporting the same; and a front side member 4 which has a kick-up section 4b inclined in an anterosuperior direction. A lower section of the brace 3 is connected to the kick-up section 4b or a section downwardly moved together with the kick-up section 4b so as to allow an upper section side of the steering column 2 to be downwardly moved when the kick-up section 4b is downwardly moved due to a load exceeding a predetermined magnitude applied to the front side member 4 from an anterior side of a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両重量の増加や製造コストの上昇を抑制しつつ、車両の前突が発生した際にステアリングコラムの上部側が上昇する不具合を適切に防止または抑制することが可能な車両構造を提供する。【解決手段】ステアリングコラム2またはこれを支持する支持部材7に上部が連結されているブレース3と、前上がり状に傾斜するキックアップ部4bが設けられているフロントサイドメンバ4と、を備えている、車両構造Bであって、ブレース3の下部は、フロントサイドメンバ4への車両前方側からの所定以上の荷重入力によってキックアップ部4bが下降した際にステアリングコラム2の上部側を下降させることが可能に、キックアップ部4bまたはキックアップ部4bとともに下降する部位に連結されている。【選択図】 図1
