Summary: | To effectively suppress vibration and noise generated at a permanent magnet synchronous motor.SOLUTION: A motor controller 1 comprises: a triangular wave generation unit 17 for generating a triangular wave signal Tr, a carrier; a carrier frequency adjustment unit 16 for adjusting a carrier frequency fc representing a frequency of the triangular wave signal Tr; and a gate signal generation unit 18 that uses the triangular wave signal Tr to perform pulse width modulation on three-phase voltage commands Vu*, Vv*, Vw* depending on a torque command T* to generate a gate signal for controlling operation of an inverter.
