The method includes: a pattern coating film formation step of applying the coating material for a next step using a pattern roller after the coating material that was applied earlier in a previous step has become a non-fluid state, and an adjustment step of selecting at least one kind from the two kinds of coating materials and applying it partially to the coating film formed in the pattern coating film formation step. The pattern roller has a liquid absorption material layer on an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical core material.
