Summary:To solve a problem that there is a possibility that a tourmaline-containing film peels off from a carrier, when sodium silicate powder is used.SOLUTION: A ceramic powder raw material containing tourmaline, a molten material, and petalite powder is attached to a surface of a ceramic carrier 19, and fired to form a tourmaline-containing coating 18, to thereby further strengthen sintering and fixing of the carrier 19 and the tourmaline-containing coating 18 as compared with a conventional tourmaline-containing coating using sodium silicate by lithium silicate contained in the petalite powder, so that a water modifier can be used semi-permanently and for a long period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】珪酸ソーダ粉末ではトルマリン含有被膜が担体から剥離する可能性を否定出来ない。【解決手段】セラミックス製の担体19の表面にトルマリン、溶融材及びペタライト粉末を含有させたセラミックス粉末原料を付着させ、焼成してトルマリン含有被膜18を形成することにより、担体19とトルマリン含有被膜18の焼結固着を、ペタライト粉末に含有する珪酸リチウムにより、従来の珪酸ソーダを使用したトルマリン含有被膜と比較して更に強固にして、水改質材を半永久使用、長期間使用可能とする。【選択図】図5
