To provide a white liquid developer which can achieve good developability, dot reproducibility and concealability.SOLUTION: The white liquid developer contains white toner particles containing white pigment particles and a binder resin, a carrier liquid and a zwitter ion compound. A content of the white pigment particles in the white toner particles is 30 pts.mass or more with respect to 100 pts.mass of the binder resin in the white toner particles, a relative dielectric constant of the white pigment particles is 150 or more, a number average particle diameter Da of the white pigment particles is 300 nm or more and 800 nm or less, a number average particle diameter Db of the toner particles is 400 nm or more and 1,500 nm or less, and when the white toner particles are observed by a transmission type electron microscope, in 30 number% or more of the white toner particles among the total white toner particles, the white pigment particles are exposed to the surface of the white toner particles.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】良好な現像性、ドット再現性、および隠蔽性を両立させることが可能である白色液体現像剤を提供すること。【解決手段】白色顔料粒子および結着樹脂を含有する白色トナー粒子、キャリア液、ならびに、双性イオン化合物を含有する白色液体現像剤であって、前記白色トナー粒子中の前記白色顔料粒子の含有量が、前記白色トナー粒子中の前記結着樹脂１００質量部に対して３０質量部以上であり、前記白色顔料粒子の比誘電率が１５０以上であり、前記白色顔料粒子の個数平均粒径Ｄａが３００ｎｍ以上８００ｎｍ以下であり、前記トナー粒子の個数平均粒径Ｄｂが４００ｎｍ以上１５００ｎｍ以下であり、前記白色トナー粒子を透過型電子顕微鏡で観察したときに、前記白色トナー粒子の全体うち３０個数％以上の前記白色トナー粒子において、前記白色顔料粒子が前記白色トナー粒子の表面に露出していることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
