To provide an artificial leather having both feeling (bending resistance) and wrinkle resistance and capable of being suitably used for decoration products including a skin material of a seat or an interior material such as for interior, for automobile, for aircraft, or for railway vehicle.SOLUTION: An artificial leather comprises a fiber sheet and a polyurethane resin. The fiber sheet comprises at least a fiber layer (A) constituting a first outside surface of the artificial leather, and has a cross section polyurethane resin area ratio of 15% or more and 30% or less in a cross section in a thickness direction of the fiber layer (A), and has a standard deviation of the cross section polyurethane resin area ratio of 25% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】インテリア用、自動車用、航空機用、鉄道車両用等のシートの表皮材又は内装材等、服飾製品等に好適に用いることができる、風合い（剛軟度）と防しわ性を両立した人工皮革の提供。【解決手段】繊維シートとポリウレタン樹脂とを含む人工皮革であって、該繊維シートが、該人工皮革の第１の外表面を構成する繊維層（Ａ）を少なくとも含み、かつ、該繊維層（Ａ）の厚み方向断面における断面ポリウレタン樹脂面積率が１５％以上３０％以下であり、かつ、該断面ポリウレタン樹脂面積率の標準偏差が２５％以下であることを特徴とする前記人工皮革。【選択図】図６
