Summary:To realize a control device which can avoid deterioration in processing quality of a processing machine which applies pressure by a slide to process a work-piece on a die cushion.SOLUTION: A control device 1 for a processing machine 100, which applies pressure by a slide 4 according to a processing program in which a plurality of operation patterns are regulated to process a work-piece on a die cushion 2, comprises: a slide position control part 11 which positionally controls the slide 4 according to the operation pattern; a pressure command generating part 12 which generates a pressure command of the die cushion 2 according to the operation pattern; a pressure detection part 13 which detects an actual pressure of the die cushion 2; a die cushion speed control part 14 which controls a speed of the die cushion 2 on the basis of a deviation between the pressure command and the actual pressure; and a command arrival determination part 15 which determines whether the deviation is larger than a pressure threshold or not.
