Summary:To provide a new non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which occurrence of uneven salt concentration in an electrode body is suppressed.SOLUTION: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 includes an electrode body 20, a non-aqueous electrolyte solution (not shown), and a battery case 10 for accommodating the electrode body 20 and the non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The battery case 10 includes a case body 11 having an opening, and a lid member 12 for covering the opening 11a. The case body 11 has a bottom surface 11b on an opposite side to the opening 11a, and a side surface 11c that is provided to be erected continuously with the bottom surface 11b and arranged along a lamination structure.
