Summary:To provide a covering yarn in which fuzz in processing is suppressed and which is excellent in productivity in processing and a method for producing a covering yarn and a method for producing a molded article.SOLUTION: A covering yarn includes a continuous reinforced fiber, a combined filament yarn 11 comprising a first continuous thermoplastic resin fiber, and a second continuous thermoplastic resin fiber 12 wound around the combined filament yarn 11 spirally in the longitudinal direction.
