To provide a strain sensor that can measure a strain generated in a subject highly precisely.SOLUTION: A strain sensor set in a subject includes: a strain board in the shape of a flat plate; a strain gauge attached to the strain board; and a pair of protruding parts protruding from both sides of the strain board along an in-plane direction of the strain board.
