To support various types of processing related to the transfer of an asset to close relatives including an inheritance.SOLUTION: An asset management system includes: an asset management part 120 for recording information related to an asset owned by a user in an asset status DB 152 and executing processing related to the transfer of the asset to record it in a transfer history DB 153; and an inheritance management part 130 for executing processing related to the transfer of the asset owned by the user. The inheritance management part 130 has: a gift management part 131 for receiving the registration of a gift to other second users while a first user is alive to record it in an inherited property DB 154; a testament management part 132 for receiving the registration of contents of a testament to record them in a testament management DB 155; and an inheritance processing part 133 for receiving information related to the transfer of the asset to the second users concerning a property owned by the first user, by allowing a specific range of the second users to refer to the contents of the testament, to record it in the inherited property DB 154.
