Summary:To provide a positioning system with which, even when the number of positioning objects increased, it is possible to accurately locate the position of a positioning object while reducing the loads of a server and a communication network.SOLUTION: The server stores correspondence reference station information that indicates the correspondence relation of one or a plurality of reference stations used for measuring the position of a positioning object with the cell identification information of the reference stations, for each of a plurality of base stations forming a plurality of cells where a positioning object can exist; receives the identification information of a positioning object from a mobile station or a core network device; acquires, on the basis of the identification information of a positioning object, the cell identification information of a cell which a positioning object is connected to, from a movement management device that manages the movement of a plurality of positioning objects connected to the plurality of base stations; selects, on the basis of said cell identification information and the correspondence reference station information, one or a plurality of reference stations used for measuring the position of the positioning object in which a mobile station is incorporated; and transmits positioning correction information that corresponds to the selected one or plurality of reference stations to the positioning object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】測位対象の数が増加した場合でも、サーバや通信網の負荷を軽減しつつ、測対象の位置を精度よく測位することができる測位システムを提供する。【解決手段】サーバは、測位対象が在圏可能な複数のセルを形成する複数の基地局のそれぞれについて、測位対象の測位に用いる一又は複数の基準局と基地局のセル識別情報との対応関係を示す対応基準局情報を記憶し、移動局又はコアネットワーク装置から測位対象の識別情報を受信し、測位対象の識別情報に基づいて、複数の基地局に接続している複数の測位対象の移動を管理している移動管理装置から、測位対象が接続しているセルのセル識別情報を取得し、そのセル識別情報と対応基準局情報とに基づいて、移動局が組み込まれた前記測位対象の測位に用いる一又は複数の基準局を選択し、選択した一又は複数の基準局に対応する測位補正情報を測位対象に送信する。【選択図】図1
