Summary:To provide a method and apparatus of continuous casting of copper or copper alloy.SOLUTION: A method of continuous casting of copper or copper alloy of the present invention, for performing continuous casting by reserving a molten metal in which electrolytic copper is heated/melted by a furnace in a tundish and pouring the molten metal into a mold through the tundish, includes detecting a melt level in the tundish by a melt-level meter and regulating the input quantity of the electrolytic copper to be inputted into the furnace in accordance with a detection result by the melt-level meter, thereby stabilizing the injection quantity of the molten metal to be poured in the mold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】銅又は銅合金の連続鋳造方法及び連続鋳造装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、電気銅を溶解炉で加熱溶融した溶湯をタンディッシュに貯留し、前記タンディッシュを介して前記溶湯を鋳型へ注入することにより連続的に鋳造を行う銅又は銅合金の連続鋳造方法において、前記タンディッシュの湯面レベルを湯面レベル計で検出し、前記湯面レベル計による検出結果に応じて前記溶解炉へ投入する前記電気銅の投入量を調整することにより、前記鋳型へ注入する前記溶湯の注入量を安定化することを特徴とする銅又は銅合金の連続鋳造方法を提供する。【選択図】図1
