Summary:To prevent local strain and cracks occurring in an elastic body when metal members are joined by the elastic body.SOLUTION: In a member joint method, a cylindrical first member 1 and a plate-like second member 2 having an opening are joined. The method includes: a step in which the first member 1 is inserted into the opening of the second member 2; a step in which an elastic body 6 is inserted into the first member 1; a step in which the outer diameter side of the first member 1 is guided by a pair of outer molds 5 at both sides of the second member 2; and a step in which the elastic body in the first member 1 is compressed with a pair of inner molds 4.
