Summary:To provide a surface treatment apparatus capable of automating even chaplet work on a region having a projection part and being adaptive to projection parts of various sizes.SOLUTION: A surface treatment apparatus comprises: an arm type robot 12 which has a head plate 28 rotating on an axis L4 of rotation when a tip part is opposed to a surface 40 to be treated; a laser irradiation device 30 which is arranged on a head plate 28 radially apart from the axis L4 of rotation as a base point, and irradiates the surface 40 to be treated with laser light in a direction parallel with the axis L4 of rotation; and a reflector 32 which is arranged for the head plate 28 radially outside the laser irradiation device 30, wherein the reflector 32 has a reflection surface 32b capable of switching between an in-use state and a stored state, and the reflection surface 32b is arranged at a position crossing the irradiation path of the laser light in the in-use state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】突出部を有する部位のケレン作業であっても自動化を図る事ができ、様々な大きさの突出部に対応することのできる表面処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】先端部を被処理面40に対向させた際、回転軸L4により回転するヘッドプレート28を有するアーム型ロボット12と、回転軸L4を基点として半径方向に離間した状態でヘッドプレート28に配置され、被処理面40に対して回転軸L4と平行な方向にレーザ光を照射するレーザ照射装置30と、ヘッドプレート28に対してレーザ照射装置30よりも半径方向外側に配置された反射鏡32と、を備え、反射鏡32は、使用状態と格納状態との切換えを可能とする反射面32bを有し、使用状態では、反射面32bがレーザ光の照射経路と交差する位置に配置されることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
