Summary:To provide a washing machine in which user friendliness is improved while an input port is secured in a large size, and further stability against vibration can be improved.SOLUTION: A washing machine comprises a housing 4 for housing a washing tub, an outer lid 5 for opening and closing a laundry input port in an upper part of the housing 4, and a biasing member for biasing the outer lid 5 in an opening direction. The outer lid 5 is composed with a front side lid 51 and a rear side lid 52. The front side lid 51 is made of resin and comprises a handle 53 for opening and closing the lid.
