Summary: | To increase an opening in a barrier of a three-dimensional display device.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional display device 2 comprises: a display panel 5 that is configured to display a parallax image; an optical panel 5 on which a plurality of extinction surfaces 51 and a plurality of translucent areas 52 are alternately and repeatedly arranged; and a controller 7 that is configured to control the display panel 5. A first width along a parallax direction of each of the plurality of translucent areas 52 is larger than a second width along the parallax direction of each of the plurality of extinction surfaces 51, and the controller 7 can control the display panel to perform parallax separation of the parallax image by making a both eyes visible area that can be visually recognized from both eyes of a user a black image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
