Summary:To provide a communication system, a communication terminal, a communication method, a program for a communication terminal, and an application program with which usability can be improved for processing to participate in a video conference that is for a guest user to perform an act for contributing to the video conference.SOLUTION: A communication system has a communication terminal, an information processing apparatus, and an account server. The information processing apparatus comprises a first request unit that transmits a first request for requesting the issuance of an account to the communication terminal. The communication terminal comprises an account issuance control unit that transmits a second request and identification information to the account server and acquires restriction information and a guest account, and a transmission unit that transmits the guest account and the restriction information to the information processing apparatus. The account server comprises a response unit that transmits the restriction information to the communication terminal, and an issuance unit that issues the guest account.
