To provide an automated teller machine that can easily hand over money to a third party who suddenly needs money.SOLUTION: An automated teller machine determines whether authentication is a success, the authentication being based on a matching state of biometric information on a second user associated with a first user who has opened a first account and biometric information read from the second user who has instructed money amount transfer processing. If the authentication is a success, the automated teller machine performs the money amount transfer processing related to money amount information recorded as a deposit limit of the second user associated with the first account.
