Summary:To provide a roof construction method capable of ensuring that tension is constantly generated in the rods that suspend and support the roof in consideration of wind blowing up and down and installing and holding a roof at a predetermined height under the action of such tension.SOLUTION: In a roof construction method, a roof beam member 1 is installed on a support structure 5 on a base end 1a side so that it can be raised and lowered and also supported in a suspended form by a pair of upper and lower tension rods 3 and 4 arranged on the upper side and the lower side of the roof beam member from the support structure toward a tip end 1b side. The weight of the roof beam member, the downward load and the upward load acting on the roof beam member are transmitted to the support structure via these tension rods. The method includes a fifth step in which tension is introduced into the lower tension rod until it reaches the target tension at which the tension is maintained against the downward load, and the tension introduced into the lower tension rod introduces tension to the upper tension rod toward the target tension at which the tension is maintained with respect to the upward load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】風の吹き上げや吹き降ろしを考慮して、屋根を吊り下げ支持するロッドに常時張力が発生しているようにし、そのような張力の作用の下で、所定の高さ位置に屋根を設置・保持することが可能な屋根の施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】屋根梁材1は、俯仰可能に支持構造体5へ基端1a側が設置されると共に、支持構造体から先端1b側へ向けて当該屋根梁材の上側及び下側に配設される上下一対のテンションロッド3,4により吊り形式で支持され、屋根梁材の自重、屋根梁材に作用する下向き荷重及び上向き荷重が、これらテンションロッドを介して、支持構造体へ伝達される屋根の施工方法であって、下テンションロッドに対し、下向き荷重に対して張力が維持される目標張力に達するまで張力を導入し、下テンションロッドに導入した張力で上テンションロッドに対し、上向き荷重に対して張力が維持される目標張力に向けて張力を導入する第5工程を含む。【選択図】図6
