To appropriately separate bulky waste including metal, consequently to reduce burden for treating the bulky waste and to safely treat the bulky waste.SOLUTION: A waste separation/treatment method includes: a first crushing step of roughly crushing bulky waste; a first ferrous metal collection step of magnetically separating the roughly crushed bulky waste and collecting ferrous metal; a first aluminum collection step of collecting aluminum scrap from the bulky waste except the ferrous metal collected in the first ferrous metal collection step; a second crushing step of finely crushing the bulky waste including the ferrous metal collected in the first ferrous metal collection step and the aluminum scrap collected in the first aluminum collection step; a second ferrous metal collection step of magnetically separating the finely crushed bulky waste including the ferrous metal and the aluminum scrap, and collecting the ferrous metal; a second aluminum collection step of collecting aluminum scrap from the bulky waste except the ferrous metal collected in the second ferrous metal collection step; and a bulky waste to be incinerated transport step of transporting, to an incinerator, the bulky waste from which the aluminum scrap collected in the first and second aluminum collection steps is removed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】金属を含む粗大ごみを適切に分別して、粗大ごみを処理するための負荷を掛かりにくくすると共に、安全に処理する。【解決手段】粗大ごみを粗く破砕する第一の破砕工程と、粗く破砕された粗大ごみを磁力選別し鉄類を回収する第一の鉄類回収工程と、前記第一の鉄類回収工程で回収された鉄類を除く粗大ごみからアルミ類を回収する第一のアルミ類回収工程と、前記第一の鉄類回収工程で回収された鉄類及び前記第一のアルミ類回収工程で回収されたアルミ類を含む粗大ごみを細かく破砕する第二の破砕工程と、細かく破砕された鉄類及びアルミ類を含む粗大ごみを磁力選別し鉄類を回収する第二の鉄類回収工程と、前記第二の鉄類回収工程で回収された鉄類を除く粗大ごみからアルミ類を回収する第二のアルミ類回収工程と、前記第一及び第二のアルミ類回収工程で回収されたアルミ類が取り除かれた粗大ごみを焼却炉に搬送する焼却粗大ごみ搬送工程と、を含む。【選択図】図３
