Summary:To accurately estimate an amount of air sucked into a cylinder through a throttle valve.SOLUTION: A device 100 comprises: a pulsation determination section 43 which determines a pulsation region of an intake amount sensor; a reflux determination section 44 which determines a reflux state when intake air is refluxed from a downstream side to an upstream side of an intake compressor; a surge determination section 45 which determines a surge region of the compressor; and an air amount calculation section 41 which calculates an air amount sucked into a cylinder through a throttle valve. The air amount calculation section 41 calculates the air amount on the basis of: a detection value of a sucked air amount when the intake amount sensor is determined not to be in the pulsation region and the compressor is determined not to be in the reflux state and not to be in the surge region; a detected throttle opening, detected supercharging pressure and detected intake air pressure when the intake amount sensor is determined to be in the pulsation region or the compressor is determined to be in reflux state or in the surge region and a pressure ratio of the intake air pressure to the supercharging pressure is equal to or less than a predetermined value; and the detected intake air pressure and a predetermined characteristic when the intake amount sensor is determined to be in the pulsation region or the compressor is determined to be in reflux state or in the surge region and the pressure ratio is larger than the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】スロットルバルブを通過して吸い込まれる空気量を精度よく推定する。【解決手段】装置100は、吸気量センサの脈動領域を判定する脈動判定部43と、吸気圧縮機の下流から上流へ吸気が還流される還流状態を判定する還流判定部44と、圧縮機のサージ領域を判定するサージ判定部45と、スロットルバルブを通過してシリンダ内に吸入される空気量を算出する空気量算出部41とを備える。空気量算出部41は、脈動領域、還流状態、サージ領域でないと判定されると吸気量センサの検出値に基づいて空気量を算出し、脈動領域または還流状態またはサージ領域であり過給圧に対する吸気圧の圧力比が所定値以下のとき、検出スロットル開度と検出過給圧と検出吸気圧とに基づいて空気量を算出し、脈動領域または還流状態またはサージ領域であり圧力比が所定値より大きいとき、検出吸気圧と予め設定された特性とに基づいて空気量を算出する。【選択図】図4
