Summary:To obtain a battery module and a manufacturing method thereof capable of suppressing variations in the pressing force for pressurizing a battery stack even when a manufacturing error occurs in a storage case and the battery stack.SOLUTION: A shim 28 is arranged between a battery stack 12 and an accommodating case 14, and the battery stack 12 is pressurized with predetermined pressing force by the shim 28, and therefore, even when a manufacturing error occurs in the battery stack 12 and the accommodating case 14, it is possible to suppress the variation in the pressing force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】収容ケース、電池スタックにおいて製造誤差が生じても、電池スタックを加圧する加圧力のばらつきを抑制することが可能となる電池モジュール及び電池モジュール製造方法を得る。【解決手段】電池スタック１２と収容ケース１４との間にシム２８を配置し、当該シム２８によって電池スタック１２を所定の加圧力で加圧することで、電池スタック１２、収容ケース１４に製造誤差が生じても、当該加圧力のばらつきを抑制することが可能となる。【選択図】図３
