To provide an electric dust collector capable of vertically or laterally connecting and capable of putting/taking a dust collection part into/from the front surface.SOLUTION: An electric dust collector 10 is composed of a front face-opened box-shaped housing 20, and a dust collection part 30 which is stored in the housing 20 and through which the dust-containing air passes. The dust collection part 30 is comprised of a filter part 31, a charging part 32, and two collection parts 33, and those parts are stored integrally in a hollow part 21. In other words, the filter part 31, the charging part 32, and the two collection parts 33 are stored in the hollow part 21 in this order from the front face of the main body part 20. The dust is charged to be positive and is ionized by generating a corona discharge between the ionization wire of the charging part 32 and a counter electrode plate. The collection part 33 collects the dust ionized in the charging part 32 by collecting on the dust collecting electrode plate 33a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】縦横に連結可能とし、前面から塵埃捕集部の出し入れが可能である電気集塵装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】電気集塵装置１０は前面が開放された箱状の筐体部２０と、筐体部２０に収容され、塵埃を含む空気が通過する塵埃捕集部３０とから構成されている。塵埃捕集部３０は、フィルタ部３１と、荷電部３２と、２個の捕集部３３とから構成され、中空部２１に収納時に一体化される。中空部２１では、本体部２０の前面からフィルタ部３１、荷電部３２、２個の捕集部３３の順で格納されることになる。荷電部３２のイオン化線と対向電極板の間にコロナ放電を発生させて、塵埃をプラスに荷電させ、イオン化させる。捕集部３３は荷電部３２によりイオン化した塵埃を、電極板３３ａの集塵電極板に集塵させることで捕集する。【選択図】図１
