Summary: | To provide an injection molding apparatus for molding a medical barrel having a distortion-free outer wall and a bypass recess within an inner wall of the medical barrel so that the medical barrel can be extracted from the injection molding apparatus in an axial direction (i.e., along a direction of a center axis line of the medical barrel).SOLUTION: An injection molding apparatus 300 includes: a mold block; an inner core 352 that passes through a cylindrical opening part, is adapted so as to occupy a part of a mold cavity to define a molding space outside the inner core and inside the mold cavity for forming the medical barrel, and includes a space in the longer direction in the inner core; an actuator 382 capable of displacing, in an axial direction, the space 380 in the longer direction; and an embossing member 386 that when molten thermoelastic plastic material is filled in the molding space, cooperates with the actuator to form a bypass recess within an inner wall of the medical barrel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
