Summary:To provide a photoelectric field sensor head that can always operate stably even in an environment with large temperature fluctuations.SOLUTION: The photoelectric field sensor has an optical modulator 1, an input/output optical fiber 2, and a package 3 made of insulator material. The optical modulator 1 has a substrate 4 made of a material having electro-optical effects, a bifurcated interference type optical waveguide 5 formed on the substrate 4, and an electrode antenna 20. The electrode antenna 20 has an antenna unit and a driving electrode unit that applies a voltage signal induced in the antenna unit to a phase-shifted optical waveguide to change its refractive index. On sides 4a, 4b of the substrate 4, antistatic elements 8 made of a material with lower resistivity than the substrate 4 are installed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】温度変動の大きな環境下においても常に安定した動作が可能な光電界センサヘッドを提供する。【解決手段】光変調器1と、入出力光ファイバ2と、絶縁体材料で構成されたパッケージ3とを有し、光変調器1は、電気光学効果を有する材料からなる基板4と、基板4上に形成された分岐干渉型光導波路5と電極アンテナ20とを備えている。電極アンテナ20は、アンテナ部と、アンテナ部に誘起された電圧信号を位相シフト光導波路に印加しその屈折率を変化させる駆動電極部とを有している。基板4の側面4a、4bには、基板4よりも抵抗率の低い材料からなる帯電防止体8が設置されている。【選択図】図1
