Summary:To provide a control device for a work machine that can deal with water mixed in the hydraulic oil used for a hydraulic system of the work machine.SOLUTION: A control device 190 of a work machine comprises a storage device 191 that stores a rate-of-change-reference value, which is a threshold value of a rate of change in viscosity of hydraulic oil; and a processing device 192 connected to a viscosity sensor 170, a notification device 180, and the storage device 191. The processing device 192 records a viscosity input from the viscosity sensor 170 from start to stop of the work machine 100, in the storage device 191 as time-series viscosity data.
