Summary:To perform drive control of a hybrid vehicle depending on an environment.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a generator for generating power using an engine as a power source; a battery for storing electricity generated by the generator; a drive part for driving a vehicle with a motor using the battery as a power supply; and a control unit for controlling charging to the battery.
