Summary:To provide a composite welding method by which post-welding deformation in welded members is reduced and excellent welding beads are formed.SOLUTION: Provided is a composite welding method composed of laser welding and arc-welding, and that performs welding under a condition in which: a front face of a first welded member is butted to an end face of a second welded member; a laser beam diameter φL of the laser welding and a welding wire diameter φA of the arc-welding are selected in a manner in which a formula (1) can be satisfied by a ratio (ρA/ρL) of an energy density ρA of the arc-welding to an energy density ρL of the arc-welding; a formula (2) is satisfied by a heat input amount QL of the laser welding and an input heat amount QA of the arc-welding; and a formula (3) is satisfied by a ratio (Vq/Vt) of a volume Vq of an apparent input heat area in the second welded member to a unit volume Vt of the first welded member in a contact area of the first welded member and the second welded member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】被溶接部材における溶接後の変形を低減しつつ、良好な溶接ビードを形成するための複合溶接方法を提供する。【解決手段】レーザ溶接及びアーク溶接による複合溶接方法であって、第1被溶接部材の表面と第2被溶接部材の端面とを突き合わせて、前記アーク溶接のエネルギー密度ρAと前記レーザ溶接のエネルギー密度ρLとの比率(ρA/ρL)が式(1)を満たすように、前記レーザ溶接のレーザビーム径φL及び前記アーク溶接の溶接ワイヤ径φAを選択するとともに、レーザ溶接の入熱量QL及びアーク溶接の入熱量QAが式(2)を満たし、かつ、前記第2被溶接部材における見かけの入熱領域の体積Vqと、前記第1被溶接部材及び前記第2被溶接部材の接触領域における前記第1被溶接部材の単位体積Vtとの比率(Vq/Vt)が式(3)を満たす条件で溶接を行う。【選択図】図1
