To provide a game machine that can suppress the decline in interest.SOLUTION: A game machine includes: section control means capable of controlling a game state in a non-advantageous section in which notification of a stop operation mode is not allowed or an advantageous section in which notification is allowed; counter updating means capable of updating a counter value during the advantageous section; and display control means capable of controlling the display according to the counter value. The counter updating means resets the counter value when the set value is changed while the counter updating means does not reset the counter value when power interruption is restored without changing the set value. When the set value is changed, the section control means executes control that sets the game state as the non-advantageous section.
