Summary: | To allow a simple symbol determination with high accuracy even to an imbalance input signal in a radio communication.SOLUTION: A symbol determination device for performing a symbol determination of an input signal, comprises: a primary symbol determination part that performs first symbol determination processing for generating a first symbol determination result obtained by classifying each input signal into any on of symbols; and a secondary symbol determination part that performs a symbol determination of the input signal on the basis of the first symbol determination result. 【課題】 無線通信における不均衡な受信信号に対しても、簡易的かつ高い精度でのシンボル判定を可能とすること。【解決手段】 実施形態によれば、受信信号のシンボル判定を行うためのシンボル判定装置は、受信信号のおのおのを、いずれかのシンボルに分類した第1のシンボル判定結果を作成する第1のシンボル判定処理を行う一次シンボル判定部と、第1のシンボル判定結果に基づいて、受信信号のシンボル判定を行う二次シンボル判定部とを具備する。二次シンボル判定部は、受信信号と前記第1のシンボル判定結果とを用いて分布情報を作成する分布情報作成部と、分布情報を用いて、第1のシンボル判定結果を必要に応じてクラスタリング処理を用いて修正する第2のシンボル判定処理を行うことによって、受信信号のシンボル判定を行う分布情報判定部とを備える。【選択図】図1 |
