To automatically move an ultrasonic probe so as to acquire an appropriate ultrasonic image irrespective of an inclination state of a scanning surface of the ultrasonic probe even in a simple device configuration with fewer actuators.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe moving device 10 for automatically moving an ultrasonic probe along a body surface in a state that the ultrasonic probe is brought into contact with the body surface includes: a device body 10A for holding and moving the ultrasonic probe by the drive of a drive device M; and a control device 46 for controlling the movement of the ultrasonic probe by a drive command to the drive device M. The control device 46 controls the movement of the ultrasonic probe so as to acquire an ultrasonic image while moving the ultrasonic probe in a non-descending state in which it is not displaced downward in a height direction over the whole area of the body surface in which the acquisition of the ultrasonic image by the ultrasonic probe is required.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】より少ないアクチュエータによる簡易な装置構成としても、超音波プローブの走査面の傾斜状況に関わらず、適正な超音波画像が得られるように超音波プローブを自動的に移動させること。【解決手段】超音波プローブ移動装置１０は、体表面に超音波プローブを接触させた状態で、体表面に沿って超音波プローブを自動的に移動させるものであり、駆動装置Ｍの駆動により超音波プローブを保持しながら移動させる装置本体１０Ａと、駆動装置Ｍへの駆動指令により、超音波プローブの移動を制御する制御装置４６とを備えている。制御装置４６では、超音波プローブでの超音波画像の取得を必要とする体表面の全域において、高さ方向の下方に変位しない非下降状態で超音波プローブを移動させながら超音波画像を取得できるように、超音波プローブの移動を制御する。【選択図】図６
