Summary:To provide a centrifugal blower which can suppress noise resulting from a fluctuation vortex.SOLUTION: A fan casing 40 has a communication path forming part 45 at one side of a rotating shaft 32 in an axial direction with respect to an air passage forming part 42. The communication path forming part 45 has a first inlet 45b and a second inlet 45c. The first inlet 45b communicates with a space at the outside of a cylindrical part 61 of a separation cylinder 60 out of a suction port 50a of the air passage forming part 42 via a communication path 45a which is formed of the communication passage forming part 45. The second inlet 45c communicates with a space at the inside of the cylindrical part 61. An alignment direction of the first inlet 45b and the second inlet 45c is set as a first direction, and a direction orthogonal to an axial direction and the first direction is set as a second direction. At this time, in a cross section of the cylindrical part 61 orthogonal to the axial direction, a line at an end part side in the second direction including an end part of the cylindrical part 61 in the second direction is formed into a curved line whose degree of curvature is mild compared with a virtual circle with a maximum width of the cylindrical part 61 in the second direction as a diameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】変動渦に起因する騒音を低減できる遠心式送風機を提供する。【解決手段】ファンケーシング40は、空気通路形成部42に対して回転軸32の軸方向の一方側に連通路形成部45を有する。連通路形成部45は、第1入口45bおよび第2入口45cを有する。第1入口45bは、連通路形成部45が形成する連通路45aを介して、空気通路形成部42の吸入口50aのうち分離筒61の筒状部61の外側の空間に連通する。第2入口45cは、筒状部61の内側の空間に連通する。第1入口45bと第2入口45cとの並び方向を第1方向とし、軸方向および第1方向に直交する方向を第2方向とする。このとき、軸方向に直交する筒状部61の断面において、筒状部61の外面がなす線のうち筒状部61の第2方向での端部を含む第2方向端部側の線は、筒状部61の第2方向での最大幅を直径とする仮想円と比較して、曲がり具合が緩やかな曲線である。【選択図】図1
