Summary: | To improve transmission characteristic when segment unit interleaving is carried out in MIMO transmission method.SOLUTION: A transmitter used in a digital broadcasting system dividing a frequency range of a broadcasting channel into a plurality of segments for use includes two series of transmitters for transmitting data sequences of two series by using MIMO transmission method. Each of the transmitters in the two series switches a corresponding relationship of segment numbers after interleaving to the segment number before interleaving by a switching cycle composed of one or a plurality of symbols when frequency interleaving is carried out in segment units. The corresponding relationship used by the transmitter of one of the series of the two series of transmitters differ from the corresponding relationship used by the transmitter of the other series among the two series of transmitters differ from each other in the same switching cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】MIMO伝送方式においてセグメント単位インターリーブを行うときの伝送特性を向上させる。【解決手段】放送チャンネルの周波数帯を複数のセグメントに分割して用いるデジタル放送システムに用いる送信装置は、MIMO伝送方式を用いて2系統のデータ系列を送信する2系統の送信部を備える。前記2系統の送信部のそれぞれは、セグメント単位での周波数インターリーブを行うとき、インターリーブ前のセグメント番号に対するインターリーブ後のセグメント番号の対応関係を、1又は複数のシンボルからなる切り替え周期で切り替える。同一の前記切り替え周期内において、前記2系統の送信部のうち一方の系統の送信部が用いる前記対応関係と、前記2系統の送信部のうち他方の系統の送信部が用いる前記対応関係とが互いに異なる。【選択図】図2 |
