To provide a lighting system capable of making people aware of the degree of battery deterioration including the battery deterioration caused by interruption of external power supply, a disaster prevention lighting apparatus, and a disaster prevention lighting system.SOLUTION: A lighting system 4A includes a lightening circuit 41, a discharge circuit 5, and a storage circuit 422. The lightening circuit 41 executes emergency lighting to lighten a light source 2 with the emergency power supplied from a battery 3 when the external power supply 9 is stopped. The discharge circuit 5 causes the battery 3 to discharge at a time of executing a check the battery 3.
