Summary:To prevent deterioration of a signal quality of an image reading part, and discharge of a radiation radio wave noise.SOLUTION: An image reading device comprises: a conversion part that is arranged in a first housing and converts a clock signal of a single end output from a control part that controls a first image reading part into a signal of a low voltage differential transmission system; a first cable that transmits the signal of the low voltage differential transmission system converted in the conversion part to a connection part neighbor of the first image reading part in a second housing; a re-conversion part that re-converts the signal of the low voltage differential transmission system into a signal of a single end; a second cable that transmits the signal re-converted in the re-conversion part to the first image reading part; and a relay substrate in which the re-conversion part is provided, and which relays the first and second cables which transmit the signal of the low voltage differential transmission system.
