Summary:To provide a sealed battery enabling each of a plurality of types of gases generated in a case to be appropriately discharged to the outside of the case.SOLUTION: A sealed battery comprises a case 2 and a plurality of sealing portions. The case 2 houses an electrode body and an electrolyte. The plurality of sealing portions are formed of a polymer material having gas permeability, and seal a gap leading from the inside to the outside of the case 2. The plurality of sealing portions include first sealing portions and second sealing portions. The first sealing portion is formed of a material having a higher transmittance of a first gas than that of the material of the second sealing portion. The second sealing portion is formed of a material having a transmittance of a second gas different from that of the first gas, which is higher than that of the material of the first sealing portion.
