Summary:To make it possible to more flexibly perform support for creation of order information.SOLUTION: An order creation support device according to an embodiment comprises: a similarity calculation unit; a first extraction unit; a second extraction unit; and a display control unit. The similarity calculation unit calculates the similarity between newly created new order information and each of pieces of existing order information. The first extraction unit extracts, from the pieces of existing order information, the existing order information similar to the new order information based on a result of calculation performed by the similarity calculation unit. The second extraction unit extracts, from character strings included in the existing order information extracted by the first extraction unit, a common expression used in relation to a specific item as a common representation.
