Summary:To provide an air conditioner that can ensure the starting-up of a compressor even when both of the ambient temperature and the compressor temperature are high.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, in the case of "ambient temperature≤T1" or "compressor temperature≤T2" (NO for S1 or S2), a compressor is started up in a first start sequence (S3), and in the case of "ambient temperature>T1" and "compressor temperature>T2" (YES for both S1 and S2), the compressor is started up in a second start sequence (S4). The first start sequence is a start sequence in which vibration and noise at the starting-up are effectively suppressed.
