Summary:To provide an electric brake device which can suppress bending deformation generated at a constituent member while maintaining a contact state of a lock nut and a piston while permitting axial displacement with the piston.SOLUTION: An electric brake device comprises a piston 7 abutting on a brake pad 8, a screw shaft 5 for transmitting the rotation of an electric motor 4, and a lock nut 6 arranged inside the piston 7, moved by the rotation of the screw shaft 5, and pressing the piston 7. The lock nut 6 has a pressing part 6a for pressing the piston 7, a screwing cylinder part 6b screwed with the screw shaft 5, and an intermediate part 6c located between the pressing part 6a and the screwing cylinder part 6b.
