Summary:To provide a diagnostic device capable of diagnosing a bearing appropriately by using a millimeter wave sensor.SOLUTION: A portable diagnostic device includes a sensor part including a millimeter wave sensor, which can measure the operation of machines moved in response to the rotation of a shaft supported by a bearing that is provided in an escalator and a control part that performs filtering processing of measurement data acquired by the millimeter wave sensor by using a specific rotation speed relating to the shaft, calculates the rotation speed of the shaft according to the measurement data after the filtering processing, and diagnoses whether or not the bearing has failed according to the calculated rotation speed of the shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ミリ波センサを用いて適切に軸受を診断し得る診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】可搬型の診断装置であって、エスカレーターに設けられる軸受により支持される軸の回転に伴って動く機器の動作を測定可能なミリ波センサを備えるセンサ部と、軸に係る特定の回転速度を用いて、ミリ波センサで取得された測定データのフィルタリング処理を行い、フィルタリング処理した後の測定データから軸の回転速度を算出し、算出した軸の回転速度より軸受が故障しているかを診断する制御部と、を設けるようにした。【選択図】図1
