To provide an insert-molding structure of a waterproof air-permeable membrane capable of preventing displacement or slack of the waterproof air-permeable membrane to improve moldability, and a molded article employing this structure.SOLUTION: An insert-molding structure of a waterproof air-permeable membrane 20 has: one space 16 and the other space 17; the waterproof air-permeable membrane 20 disposed in these spaces; a first membrane insert portion 21 formed by insert-molding an outer edge 23 of the waterproof air-permeable membrane 20 over a circumference; and a second membrane insert portion 22 connected to the first membrane insert portion 21 and extending inside the outer edge 23 of the waterproof air-permeable membrane 20, wherein portions 24 and 25 of the waterproof air-permeable membrane 20 exposed from the first membrane insert portion 21 and the second membrane insert portion 22 form a plurality of mold pressing portions 26 and 27 formed by a molding die. A grommet 1 as a molded article includes a grommet main body 4, and the waterproof air-permeable membrane 20 insert-molded by the insert-molding structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】防水性通気膜のズレや弛みを防止して成形性の向上を図ることが可能な、防水性通気膜のインサート成形構造と、この構造を採用してなる成形品とを提供する。【解決手段】防水性通気膜２０のインサート成形構造は、一方の空間１６及び他方の空間１７と、これら空間に配置される防水性通気膜２０と、防水性通気膜２０の外縁２３を一周にわたりインサート成形して形成される第一の膜インサート部２１と、この第一の膜インサート部２１に連成されて防水性通気膜２０の外縁２３よりも内側にのびる第二の膜インサート部２２とを有し、第一の膜インサート部２１及び第二の膜インサート部２２から露出する防水性通気膜２０の部分２４、２５が成形金型による複数の金型押さえ部分２６、２７になる構造である。成形品としてのグロメット１は、グロメット本体部４と、上記インサート成形構造によってインサート成形される防水性通気膜２０とを有して構成される。【選択図】図４
