Summary:To support attainment of a muscle activity pattern close to a muscle activity pattern as a target in exercise for a predetermined period of time.SOLUTION: An exercise support device calculates a muscle activity ratio indicating a ratio of the amount of muscle activity of each of a plurality of muscles of a user on the basis of myoelectric signals measured during exercise for a first period of time, and selects an indication pattern including a candidate ratio for being indicated to the user from among a plurality of candidate ratios different from one another in the value of the ratio of the amount of the muscle activity, and duration time corresponding to the candidate ratio. The indication pattern is selected so as to minimize an objective function based on the difference between a final muscle activity ratio calculated on the bases of the muscle activity ratio for the first period of time and a muscle activity ratio attained when the user executes exercise based on the indication pattern after the first period of time further for a second period of time, and a final target ratio obtained when executing a preset target ratio for the same total period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 一定時間の運動において目標とする筋活動パターンに近い筋活動パターンの達成を支援する。【解決手段】 第1の時間にわたる運動中に計測された筋電信号をもとにユーザの複数の筋肉の各々の筋活動量の比を表す筋活動比率を算出し、筋活動量の比の値が異なる複数の候補比率の中からユーザに提示するための候補比率と当該候補比率に対応する継続時間とを含む提示パターンを選択する。提示パターンは、第1の時間にわたる筋活動比率と、ユーザが第1の時間後に当該提示パターンに基づく運動を第2の時間にわたってさらに実行した場合に達成される筋活動比率とをもとに算出される最終筋活動比率と、あらかじめ設定された目標比率を同じ合計時間にわたって実行した場合に得られる最終目標比率との差に基づく目的関数を最小化するように選択される。【選択図】図2
