Summary: | To provide a vehicle body front structure that is able to efficiently absorb energy of impact load without adding many members.SOLUTION: A vehicle body front structure comprises a front side frame 2. The front side frame 2 has an inside wall 20, an upper inclined wall 22 and a lower inclined wall 26. The upper inclined wall 22 extends outwardly upwards in a vehicle width direction from an upper ridge line part 21 of an upper end of the inside wall 20. The lower inclined wall 26 extends outwardly downwards in a vehicle width direction from a lower ridge line part 25 of a lower end of the inside wall 20. The inside wall 20 is provided with a bend boosting portion 14 extending in a vertical direction of a vehicle body and that makes it easy for the inside wall 20 to bend and deform outwards in the vehicle width direction. In at least one of the upper inclined wall 22 and the lower inclined wall 26, a pair of recesses 31, receding inside a cross-section of the front side frame 2, are provided one behind the other with the bend boosting portion 14 therebetween in forward and backward directions of the vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】多くの部材を追加することなく衝撃荷重のエネルギーを効率良く吸収することができる車体前部構造を提供する。【解決手段】車体前部構造は、フロントサイドフレーム2を備える。フロントサイドフレーム2は、内側壁20と上傾斜壁22と下傾斜壁26を有する。上傾斜壁22は、内側壁20の上端の上稜線部21から車幅方向外側上方に延びる。下傾斜壁26は、内側壁20の下端の下稜線部25から車幅方向外側下方に延びる。内側壁20には、車体上下方向に延び当該内側壁20の車幅方向外側への屈曲変形を容易にする屈曲促進部14が設けられている。上傾斜壁22と下傾斜壁26の少なくともいずれか一方の、屈曲促進部14を間に挟む車体前後方向の前後位置には、フロントサイドフレーム2の断面内側方向に窪む一対の窪み部31が設けられている。【選択図】図4 |
