Summary:To provide a light-weight honeycomb material having stable strength by forming a uniform adhesive layer on an edge face each of honeycomb cells by heating a sheet for adhesion by hot wind when adhering the respective cells, with respect to a manufacturing method of the honeycomb material by a domed adhesive layer.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a honeycomb material includes: a doming step A of forming a dome-like adhesive layer on the top face of each of cells by forcibly feeding rising hot wind into the cell from downward to upward with respect to an adhesive member arranged on the top face of a honeycomb core, when molding the adhesive layer using the heat-weldable adhesive member on the honeycomb core composing the aggregate of the cells connected by a plurality of ribs; a breaking step B of breaking an apex by breakage-inducing means applied to the apex of the dome of the dome-like adhesive layer; and a heat-welding step C of forming the uniform adhesive layer on the top face edge portion of the cell by using fusion property and surface tension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明は、ドーム化接着層によるハニカム材の製造方法において、各セル同士の接着に際し、接着用のシートを熱風で加熱して各ハニカムセルの端面に均一な接着層を形成することによって、安定した強度を有し、軽量なハニカム材を提供する。【解決手段】ハニカム材を製造する製造方法であって、複数のリブにより連接したセルの集合体を構成するハニカムコアに熱溶着性の接着部材を用いて接着層を成形する際、前記ハニカムコアの上面に配置した前記接着部材に対し、下方から上方に向かって前記セル内へ上昇熱風を圧送して各前記セルの上面にドーム状の接着層を形成させるドーム化工程Aと、前記ドーム状の接着層のドームの頂点に施される破断誘発手段により前記頂点を破断させる破断工程Bと、溶融性と表面張力を利用して前記セルの上面縁部に均等な接着層を形成する熱溶着工程Cと、を有する手段とした。【選択図】図1
