To provide a sensor modular having excellent water and heat resistance properties, and a method for setting a sensor.SOLUTION: A sensor modular 10 includes: a sensor 100; a first coating member 110 with thermal conductivity; and a second coating member 120 with a water resistance property and permeability. The sensor 100 has a surface 103 facing a detection target. The first coating member 110 is separate from the sensor 100 when is viewed from a direction vertical to the surface 103, and surrounds the sensor 100.
