To prevent a warning from being issued during work in which the warning is not required even when a revolving operation is performed.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises: a machine body that extends vertically and can rotate about a revolving axis; a swing body that is attached to the machine body and can swing vertically; a ground work tool that is attached at a tip of the swing body; a first detection device that detects the revolving operation of the machine body; a second detection device that detects the height of a predetermined section of the ground work tool; a warning device that can generate revolving warning sounds; and a control device that controls the warning device. The control device has a first revolving warning function for which a revolving warning sound is generated when the first detection device detects a revolving operation and the height detected by the second detection device is larger than a predetermined height that is equal to or less than the ground surface, but on the other hand a revolving warning sound is not generated when the height detected by the second detection device is equal to or less than the predetermined height even if the first detection device detects a revolving operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】旋回操作時であっても警報が不要である作業中には警報が行われることを防ぐ。【解決手段】作業機は、上下方向に延伸する旋回軸心回りに旋回可能な機体と、前記機体に取り付けられ且つ上下方向に揺動可能な揺動体と、前記揺動体の先端に取り付けられた対地作業具と、前記機体の旋回操作を検知する第１検知装置と、前記対地作業具の所定部分の高さを検知する第２検知装置と、旋回警告音を発生可能な警報装置と、前記警報装置を制御する制御装置とを備え、前記制御装置は、前記第１検知装置により旋回操作が検知され且つ前記第２検知装置により検知された高さが地表面以下の所定高さより高いときに旋回警告音を発生させる一方、前記第１検知装置により旋回装置が検知された場合であっても前記第２検知装置により検知された高さが前記所定高さ以下である場合は旋回警告音を発生させない第１旋回警告機能を有している。【選択図】図１
