Summary: | To propose a new structure that ensures strength, in a side rail having an upper bent portion and a lower bent portion of a suspension member.SOLUTION: A side rail 40 having a cross-sectional structure has: a portion P2 extending in forward and backward directions of a vehicle and serves as a lower bent portion, which is bent downward toward a cross member; and a portion P4 serving as an upper bent portion, which is bent upward. The side rail 40 is formed by combing an upper member 42, a lower member 44, and a reinforcement member 46 located between the two. The upper member 42 and the reinforcement member 46 are fixed by welding to form a closed cross-section having an upper hollow portion. The reinforcement member 46 and the lower member 44 are fixed by welding to form a closed cross-section having a lower hollow portion. In terms of a vertical distance from the upper end of the upper hollow portion to the lower end thereof, the portion P2 is longer than the portion P4. 【課題】サスペンションメンバの上曲部と下曲部を有するサイドレールにおいて、強度を確保する新たな構造を提案する。【解決手段】断面構造を有するサイドレール40は、車両前後方向に延び、クロスメンバに向けて下方に曲がる下曲部である部位P2と、上方に向けて曲がる上曲部である部位P4とを有する。サイドレール40は、アッパメンバ42と、ロアメンバ44と、両者の間に位置する補強メンバ46とを組み合わせて形成されている。アッパメンバ42と補強メンバ46は溶接により固定されて、アッパ中空部を有する閉断面を形成する。補強メンバ46とロアメンバ44は溶接により固定されて、ロア中空部を有する閉断面を形成する。アッパ中空部における上端から下端までの上下方向距離は、部位P2における方が部位P4におけるよりも長く、ロア中空部における上端から下端までの上下方向距離は、部位P4における方が部位P2におけるよりも長い。【選択図】図2 |
