Summary: | SOLUTION: There is provided a golf ball in which at least one layer of covers is formed of a resin composition including constituents of (I) polyurethane or polyurea and (II) an aromatic vinyl elastomer, and in letting HMa [N/mm2] be the Martens hardness of the resin material of the constituent (I), HMb [N/mm2] be the Martens hardness of the cover layer formed of the resin composition containing the constituents (I) and (II), and ηItb[%] be an elastic work recovery rate of the cover layer, HMa, HMb and ηItb satisfy following formulas of (1) 1.005≤HMa/HMb≤1.450 and (2) 2.00≤ηItb/HMb≤7.00 in the golf ball in which a core constituted of at least one layer is covered with a single layer or plural layers of the covers.EFFECT: A golf ball in this invention shows excellent controllability on approach shots and can maintain good scuff resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【解決手段】少なくとも1層からなるコアに単層又は複数層のカバーが被覆されるゴルフボールであって、該カバーのうち少なくとも1層が、下記(I)及び(II)成分(I)ポリウレタンまたはポリウレア(II)芳香族ビニル系エラストマーを含有した樹脂組成物により形成されると共に、上記(I)成分の樹脂材料のマルテンス硬度をHMa[N/mm2]、上記(I)及び(II)成分を含有した樹脂組成物により形成されるカバー層のマルテンス硬度をHMb[N/mm2]、該カバーの弾性仕事回復率をηItb[%]としたとき、HMa,HMb及びηItbは、下記式(1)及び式(2)1.005≦HMa/HMb≦1.450 ・・・(1)2.00≦ηItb/HMb≦7.00 ・・・(2)を満足することを特徴とするゴルフボール。【効果】本発明のゴルフボールは、アプローチショット時のコントロール性能に優れると共に、耐擦過傷性を良好に維持できる。【選択図】なし |
